The Wanderer is an ethereal portrait of Jordanian artist Mamdouh Bisharat, whose psychological collages of found objects recall the visionary assemblages of Kurt Schwitters and Joseph Cornell.
Observed within the solitude of his home, Bisharat stands as a quiet witness to a vanishing era. Through his eyes, the film weighs time remembered and lost, offering a poignant meditation on memory, fragment, and identity in the contemporary Arab world.

يصوِّر هذا الفيلم الوجه الروحي للفنان ممدوح بشارة. وقد استلْهم بشارة الأميركي جوزيف كورنيل، والألماني كيرت شويتر، فصنعَ مادة لوحاته من أشياء مبعْثرة، تعطي معنى للحياة من حوله. في هذا الفيلم، نرى ممدوح بشارة وحيداً في منزله، شاهداً من نافذته، على لحظات تتوارى، وترخي ظلالها عليه: لحظات قديمة ضائعة، مازالت تثقل العالم العربي اليوم
